Ivo Gut, director of the CNAG, has been invited to serve on the Genetics Editorial Board of Royal Society Open Science journal

Royal Society Open Science is a new open access journal publishing high-quality original research across the entire range of science on the basis of objective peer-review. It belongs to the publishing group of the Royal Society, a self-governing fellowship of many of the world’s most distinguished scientists drawn from all areas of science, engineering, and medicine including around 80 Nobel laureates.

 

The journal covers the entire range of science and mathematics and will allow the Society to publish all the high-quality work it receives without the usual restrictions on scope, length or impact.

 

Besides Ivo Gut, the Genetics Editorial Board of Royal Society Open Science is formed by Judith Hall, Naomi Wray and Trudi Schupbach, Franklin Grosveld is the Subject Editor.

 

Ivo Gut is author of more than 200 research papers, 11 reviews and 12 book chapters, cited over 17 000 times, inventor of 25 patents or patent applications, founder of 4 biotech start-ups, and serves on numerous international advisory boards.
